Accommodation

For guests requiring wedding accommodation, the nearby Dorset Arms public house in Withyham provides the perfect guest house experience within easy reach of Buckhurst Park.

Part of the historic Buckhurst Estate, this 18th-century alehouse is situated in the outstandingly beautiful Sussex Weald and is named after the Earls and Dukes of Dorset – one-time heads of the Sackville family who share a heritage of ownership with the present Earl De La Warr.

Today, the Dorset Arms offers high-quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation, retaining the atmosphere of a traditional village pub with its beautiful grounds and a large Garden Room. We offer excellent food with an emphasis on local and seasonal produce of a high standard. When in season, you will also find beef, lamb, venison, and game from the Buckhurst Estate on the menu.

Bed and Breakfast accommodation is provided in The Old School Cottage, with six en-suite bedrooms and bathrooms. Our rooms all boast wonderful individual features and large, comfortable beds, as well as free Wi-fi, luxury dressing gowns, a Nespresso machine and a complimentary cooked breakfast.

The Family Room & two of the twin rooms are located above the pub. The Family Room consists of 3 single beds, one of which has a pull out single bed so that the room can sleep 4 if needed.

Both the Twin rooms above the pub have 2 single beds & a shared bathroom.
